EZTip No. 7 - Optional route of flight waypoints
Given that EZWxBrief is not a full-service electronic flight bag (EFB), it only provides a rudimentary route editor. You can enter your departure airport, destination airport and optional route of flight. To edit or add an active route, visit the EZMap (Plan a route from the Quick Start menu) and click or tap on the route editor button as shown below.

The optional route of flight field allows you to enter up to five navigation waypoints that includes airports, VOR identifiers, waypoints, fixes or intersections in the conterminous U.S and southern Canada. However, you cannot enter victor or jet airways, arrival procedures or departure procedures. Please note: NDB are not in the EZWxBrief database at this time.

For example, in the example above, the departure airport is KODG with the destination of KMFR. However, notice the first waypoint is an intersection of SHEAR followed by BOI, ILR, LKV and LMT VORs. Once you have reached five waypoints, the route editor will not allow any additional entries.
