Below are the release notes for EZWxBriefâ„¢ version 2.8.0
Reduced the number of Wind markers vertically on the WIND Meteogram and Route Profile view to make it more readable on handheld devices in landscape orientation.
Introduced a new EZDeparture Advisorâ„¢ Flight mode for routes rendered on the Map.
Introduced a new EZDeparture Advisorâ„¢ Skew-T Flight mode on the Map to show the Skew-T log (p) diagram for points along the route of flight.
Changed the EZDeparture Advisorâ„¢ resolution from 10 minutes to 5 minutes to support both new Flight modes.
With the exception of Mountain Obscuration, added G-AIRMETs to the Airport Wx Meteogram and Route Profile views.
Removed the MRMS radar static imagery that is now shown as a new Map layer.
Brought back the Route Profile view on smartphone devices in landscape orientation.
Fixed an issue that was causing the Route Profile page to crash after using a hard page reset (e.g., Ctrl-Shift-R for Windows).
Squashed a number of smaller bugs and made other under-the-hood enhancements to make the platform more stable and responsive.
Given that EZWxBrief is designed to run as a progressive web app, there's nothing you need to do. If open, just close the app and new releases are seamless and become available the next time you restart the app.
