Below are the release notes for EZWxBriefâ„¢ version 3.0.0
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been added to the EZWxBrief progressive web app. Among many other aspects, a new EZAI Weather Briefing is now available when viewing the Map or Route Profile view. Keep in mind, this is a beta release and that AI can and does make mistakes. Therefore, it is imperative to check all weather guidance before making any decision to depart.
Changes to the Ground Time and Leg 2 Altitude for a route with a stopover airport will now be saved.
TAF markers now are rendered on the Map for airports that are included in the route.
Fixed an issue that was causing the EZDeparture Advisorâ„¢ slider handle to advance backward and become out of sync with the time label after a period inactivity while viewing the Map or Route Profile.
Updated the Pilots Guide with new features and fixed a few typos.
Squashed a number of smaller bugs and made other under-the-hood enhancements to make the platform more stable and responsive.
Given that EZWxBrief is designed to run as a progressive web app, there's nothing you need to do. If open, just close the app and new releases are seamless and become available the next time you restart the app.
