Below are the release notes for EZWxBriefâ„¢ version 3.1.0
Added an AI Airport Weather Briefing to the Airport Wx page. This is a 75 mile radius from the surface to 10,000 feet AGL area briefing based on the time set on the EZDeparture Advisorâ„¢.
Added back 500 Canadian airports that were removed from version 3.0.0.
Now all AVIATION sections are being highlighted in blue and properly filtered when the Aviation Only switch is turned on.
Allowed the AI Weather Briefing window to be moved and resized accordingly.
Fixed an issue that was preventing the Home page from being fully hydrated for some users.
Fixed a bug on iOS devices that was causing the route editor to scroll when using a space to select the top entry of the suggested airport list.
Fixed a bug that was causing the EZDeparture Advisorâ„¢ slider, date bar and summary blocks to fully render for a stale departure time.
Fixed an issue that was causing some VFR altitudes not to use the forecast winds to calculate the groundspeed for determining arrival times at segment points along the proposed route of flight.
Fixed a bug that was crashing the app when the airport identifier in a recent airport or saved item was no longer a valid airport identifier.
Added magnetic variation to wind direction forecasts for crosswind component calculations.
Fixed an issue that caused isotherms to sometimes get added to the turbulence view for the Airport Wx and Route Profile pages.
Squashed a number of smaller bugs and made other under-the-hood enhancements to make the platform more stable and responsive.
Given that EZWxBrief is designed to run as a progressive web app, there's nothing you need to do. If open, just close the app and new releases are seamless and become available the next time you restart the app.
