Below are the release notes for EZWxBrief™ version 3.4.0

  • Introduced a Tactical Decision Aid (TDA) to the Airport Wx sitemap menu.

  • A top of climb (TOC) and top of descent (TOD) point were added to the Map's active route for each leg of the flight.

  • More glossary terms were added to the Airport Wx Discussions.

  • Fixed an issue that was causing the density altitude not to display in the METAR tabular display and in the translated Airport Wx METARs page.

  • Fixed a problem that was causing the header on the Map page to shift out of view when panning after a route was deleted.

  • Fixed an issue where the elevation was not always rendering on the route profile view.

  • Fixed a bug that was causing the app to crash when deleting a route from the profile view.

  • Fixed a problem that was preventing the drag and drop reordering of waypoints for the route of flight.

  • The departure advisor columns no longer appear when no active route is defined.

  • Expanded the viewport area when viewing the Route Profile in landscape orientation on a smartphone. This included removing the proximity airport line and the lines for the accumulated distance and arrival times.

  • Fixed an issue that was not showing wind speed station markers for calm conditions.

  • Squashed a number of smaller bugs and made other under-the-hood enhancements to make the platform more stable and responsive.
