EZTip No. 8 - EZWxBrief as a progressive web app
Updated: Jan 10
If you tried searching for EZWxBrief in Apple's App Store or Google's Play Store, you were not able to find it. That's because EZWxBrief is a progressive web app, not a native app. A progressive web app runs within a Chrome or Safari browser and once installed has the same look & feel as a native app. There's nothing to download and as bug fixes or new features are added, they become immediately available the next time you start the app. There's no need to add Apple or Google to complicate the process.
On smaller devices like an iPhone or iPad, it's very important to install the progressive web app on those devices to have the best user experience, although you can also install them on a laptop or desktop computer. If you are new to the app and have not done so, take a few seconds to add EZWxBrief to your home screen as explained below from the EZWxBrief Pilots Guide. If you have Apple devices and are using an iPad or iPhone, you need to use Safari. For the iMac or Macbook, you will need to use Google Chrome. For other operating systems and devices, please refer to the Pilots Guide.
