Release notes for EZWxBrief v2.4.1

Below are the release notes for EZWxBrief™ version 2.4.1

• Added a data block to the cursor line for turbulence (EDR) and icing severity (SEV) column on the Skew-T log (p) diagram to depict the EDR value and categorical severity value (i.e., T = Trace, L = Light, M - Moderate and H= Heavy).

• Changed the wind speed trace to be cyan on the Skew-T log (p) diagram so that it stands out.

• Highlighted wind barbs to yellow, red and magenta on the Skew-T log (p) diagram for winds above specific thresholds to include 100, 120 and 140 knots, respectively.

• Highlighted the cursor wind barb to cyan.

• Lowered the density of wind barbs rendered that are higher than 10,000 feet above the airport's elevation to reduce overlap.

• Added a horizontal line to the surface-based parcel lapse rate for the lifted condensation level (LCL).

• Added convective inhibition (CIN) to the textual indices as SBCIN or MUCIN.

• Moved altitude data block on cursor line to be right-justified to float above the wind speed and wind directional digital data block to avoid collisions with turbulence data block on smaller devices.

• Fixed an issue to not allow the time slider/scrubber under the Skew-T log (p) diagram to snap back to its original position when sliding it manually on touch screen devices.

• Added opacity controls to the SIGMETs, CWAs and G-AIRMETs layers on the Map.

• Relocated the 1-Day/3-Day button on the Meteogram from the bottom left to the right of the WIND/CLDS/ICE/TURB buttons so that it stays visible and doesn't scroll on some handheld devices.

• Made minor formatting and aesthetic improvements to the Skew-T log (p) diagram.

• Made minor corrections and updates to the Pilots Guide.

• Squashed a number of smaller bugs and made other under-the-hood enhancements to make the platform more stable and responsive.

Given that EZWxBrief is designed to run as a progressive web app, there's nothing you need to do. If open, just close the app and new releases are seamless and become available the next time you restart the app.
